Ok, the truth is, that this book is a real page turner... I couldn't put it down, so i spent my weekend off work reading it. It was quite interesting. Dave Gurney is pictured as a really wise - but retired - detective. Wiser than any of the others, who reminded me of caricatures! In order for Dave to shine, i think John Verdon made every other policeman in the book look totally stupid. No, let me correct that. He made every other man in the book look totally stupid. But there are things that don't match with genius Dave.... From a point after it was clearly who the killer was. If Dave is such a genius and he could understand people sooooo good, how could he not understand it? Well, i guess it suited the writer better this way. Anyway. It was far from perfect, but at least i had a good time reading it.
What do You think about Pensa Num Núm3ro (2011)?

Impressive for a debut novel. Loved how he tied everything in.
