Didn´t finish the artistry part because I realized this weekend that I only love doing makeup on myself :D Ridiculous, since I´ve dreamed about doing bridal make up for years now. But hey, you have to choose dreams accordingly and I just had this one crushed by none other than myself. It doesn´t even hurt that much. I´m just going to continue doing all kinds of crazy stuff for work and let people ask me if I´m going to a ball when actually, I´m just teaching. Who cares!Bobbi Brown has to be such a nice lady to talk to and be around. I had the feeling she´d be down to earth. I can´t say I learned all that much reading this book because I´ve seen a lot of videos and read a lot of blogs to not be informed about the tips she mentions, but I think this is really good for women who don´t know how to do their makeup and would like to know that. Pretty, pretty pictures!Really, that's why I picked this up; I love Bobbi and has thought that she was pretty awesome since I was a little girl raiding the beauty section in the library. (Back then, I had absolutely no use for makeup-- I just loved the pictures! What can I say, a love of the arts has always been within me.)There wasn't a lot that applied to me, personally, but eventually, if it does, I won't be completely lost.Good book about the basics of beauty.
