got this as a free kindle. its a cute story of how she lost her job due to her 'friend' stealing her story and so she started answering sex phone calls, $2 a min, she gets $1, the agency the othershe was out on a date and recognized a man she talked to over the phone. he was murdered that night. the date she was on turned out to be a cop but she didnt know and he didnt know what she did either.she is trying to solve the case to clear herself, she really likes the cop. someone is after her. she is supposed to meet the cop and spend the night with him. she goes and gets a cute nighty for the occasion. It took me a long time to read this, but it had nothing to do with the quality. In fact, this was way better than I expected. I downloaded it for free not too long ago, and I thought it sounded funny and cute, but predictable. It was everything but the latter. I had no idea how it would turn out, and I really enjoyed all the quirky plot twists. Emily is such a complete and likeable character that I really felt like I knew her. I could easily imagine someone like Ginnifer Goodwin playing her in a movie version. There are some small issues like missing words, a few missing periods and even some misplaced commas, but I was able to forgive them because the story is just that great. I definitely recommend this book.

This book was absolutely hilarious and different than anything I've read before.
