So bad. I bought this book b/c of a site that promised "If you like Carl Hiaasen you will like Tim Dorsey". Um, no. I love Carl Hiaasen! I have read all his books and I was so hopeful that Tim Dorsey would be decent. He was not. This book was so ridiculous that I could not even continue reading it. I gave up and plan to donate the book to a book bin because I will not be sharing this with friends. If Hunter S. Thompson had created a character like Dexter, he might have come up with Tim Dorsey's Robin Hoodesque Serge Storms and his merry side kick Coleman. Serge is a psycho/sociopathic killer who only kills bad people. Serge loves the state of Florida and wants to protect it from developers and drug lords. The series is filled with madcap cartoon violence, and much bad behavior. Still Serge comes across as not completely unsympathetic. Pleasant escapist fiction if you can tolerate the drug references, profanity, sex and violence -- which I can.
Not the best Dorsey. I hope he hasn't given up on Serge.

Similar to Carl Hiassen - very typical Florida.

A weak link in an otherwise good series.
