My interest in UK reads is starting.This is a fun and funny read. The main character, Alice, was a little innocent at times. But she was naively funny, not annoying.Anyway, for us - nonUK peeps - wellies are short for wellington boots. Still explaining further, these are simply "rain boots" or "flood boots". Or at least, that's how it is best described here in the Philippines (or here in metro.)Aside from the vast UK terms (that I have to Google to understand more, but which wasn't so bad because it's still a new "learning"), I noticed that LR repeats certain lines, paraphrasing after two sentences. It wasn't annoying, but it's just a little disconcerting to read it again. It's like reading a draft, and the writer hasn't quite made up her mind which statement to use.Other than that, this chick lit wasn't so bad.Though, I think the title could be better. It wasn't very... catchy? This book is one of the funniest books I have read from the first page till the end I actually laughed out loud ! it capturing funny light hearted situations that leaves u laughing anf wanting to read more, I loved the way the characters where all so different and added a variety if personality into the book. I enjoyed the story like every much leaves you in a feel good mood . was gutted it ended and wish one day will turn into a movie as I sure would go and see it !

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a nice easy read that in parts, really made me laugh.
