1,5-2 stars. I'm sorry but this was a hot mess. The tone, the characters and not least the story was not remotely close to the previous book. I really liked Please don't tell. It was sweet and romantic and with likable characters. In this book it felt like all of them had been body snatched. Too much strange drama I just could not relate to. I'm kind if sorry I read this sequel because it ruined Ethan and Sophie for me. After I read the first book I was really hoping that we would get a 2nd book. When I found out a 2nd book was released I was rather excited I would get to read more. I was glad that I picked it up. While I did get rather upset with Ethan at times for closing himself off and turning away from the person he loved I could understand it to some point. In the end though he did redeem himself by not giving up on his love and fighting against all the odds to get her back. It was a sweet love story in which two people must figure out if theyh can overcome the hurt and decide if future between them is worth having and fighting for,
