Pretty Little Killers: The Truth Behind The Savage Murder Of Skylar Neese (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
My heart goes out to Mary and Dave Neese. With that being said, I can't for the life of me understand how someone can control another person. It's so sad that Rachel took so long to tell the truth. Well, most of it anyway.Questions!! If the area where Skylar was discovered had been already searched, how was it that they didn't fine her? Then again, I thought the same of Caylee Anthony. :(Do take the time to read it, especially if you like true crime books. Engrossing story, a horrible, brutal, ridiculously senseless crime. At the end of the book I had a better understanding of the crime and at least a nugget of an idea as to why the girls killed Skylar. There are problems with the writing of the book just in terms of cleanliness of editing, lots of little mistakes and repeated ideas. I suspect it was all in a rush to get the book published. Still, if you like true crime and are especially interested in the nuances of the teen girl's mind, this is a must read.
What do You think about Pretty Little Killers: The Truth Behind The Savage Murder Of Skylar Neese (2014)?
This wasn't a terrible book but I felt it had too much filler and towards the end was repetitive.

the writing techniques could use some work, but the overall coverage of the case outweighs this.
