Me ha parecido un libro muy entretenido,con su cierto toque de terror y misterio. Es de ese tipo de libros que realmente te apetece leer el siguiente capítulo para enterarte de que es lo que pasa. 100% recomendado como novela juvenil. Una cosa que no me ha gustado mucho es algún asunto que se ha dejado sin resolver o que yo no he relacionado bien, que supongo que lo hayan reservado para el siguiente libro. This book had been sitting on my 'to read' shelf for quite some time, always pushed lower by other books that took priority and were more of a 'have to read it now' quality. I had picked it up on the discount table as an impulse so there was never a high priority to read it. I had bought it based on my enjoyment of The Shadow of the Wind and The Angel's Game. This was written some years before Shadow of the Wind and The Angel's game, and it shows it was one of his first books. Part of this may be the translation of this issue, it seemed odd to me that the names were so American. Set in the years surrounding WWII, the war does not really play a part in the story other than as a far removed threat, there is no immediate menace. If it had not been stated that the book took place in the timeframe of WWII, I never would have guessed. There was no real description or imagery that set the time or place as being WWII Spain, it could very well have taken place along any coastline town in any country at any time up to and including today.The story reminded me at times of Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes, children facing down a demonic presence set on destroying them, the children battling for their lives with the help of an older father figure. Unlike Bradbury's book, The Prince of Mist did succeed in giving me goosebumps at times, the menace of the demon was palpable as it stalked the children. Overall I was left with the feeling that I could read the original as the translation for me lacked something and if I find the other books on the discount table I'd probably pick them.
En mi opinión este libro me ha resultado muy interesante y me ha gustado mucho leerle. Creo que la historia enganchaba mucho y se leía fácilmente, de hecho, casi sin darme cuenta solo tardé dos días en leer el libro.En ocasiones la historia te hace pasar miedo porque hace que te metas en la piel de los personajes, y eso la hace mucho más entretenida.La única pega que le encuentro es que algunos temas quedan sin fangar del todo como por qué el reloj de la estación giraba hacia atrás, pero eso son detalles mínimos y para mí, el final es muy impactante, posiblemente la mejor parte del libro en mi opinión.Recomendaría la novela principalmente a jóvenes porque es una lectura fácil, entretenida, actual y con temas que a ellos les interesarían (aventuras, amistad, amor...) Pero de todas formas creo que es una lectura que le puede gustar a gente de todas las edades, siempre que les guste el tema de la magia, el misterio y lo sobrenatural.

El príncipe de la niebla me ha resultado una lectura amena. Al principio el libro me pareció un tanto aburrido, pero conforme la historia avanzaba, me empezó a resultar más interesante. Lo único que no me ha gustado especialmente ha sido el final, la verdad que no me ha parecido bien que haya matado a Roland, sinceramente creo que ha sido un final muy dramático y hubiese preferido otro.En conclusión, me ha gustado el libro y sin duda, lo recomendaría
