I loved this book. The drama between Ben and Tess was hilarious. It was so much like reality that it was scary. It was your basic relationship issues of trust and past history. When ex's show up and try to cause trouble it can be very trying on one's self esteem and can make one start to question the relationship. Especially when secrets are being kept. Ben couldn't help but keep secrets from Tess because he didn't want to ruin a surprise but Tess should have trusted Ben and communicated better. I am hoping to be able to read the next book to see what happens next. This is an excellent seriesTill next time ~ Sweets Books(written by Lisa ~ Sweets Books After Hours) Ben and Tess story continues in Private Show, with Tess trying to figure out if she can trust Ben. Her virginal image is now gone, since Ben has turned her out! She doesn't know if she trusts Ben, but she does know that she wants him to rock her world!!!!!I have to be honest when I say I didn't know how to feel about Ben after book 1, I felt he was a little cold, and worried that he really didn't feel for Tess the way she felt for him. In Private Show, he's shed that douche bag layer and is more affectionate. I did see growth in these two, and a lot of that has to do with the author's writting. I felt like Danielle really poured some of herself into Tess' character. Gone is the meek, timid female she was in Private Message and in her place you get a woman who knows what she wants and is willing to go after it. Ben and Tess personify what it means to really to love someone. You have to love ALL of the complicated, and lovable parts of someone. You can't pick and chose which parts to love. The ending is eye popping but not in a way you think, I have to give kudos to Danielle once again in knowing how to keep readers on the edge of their seats! Now the only question is when will book 3 be released?!
