The plot was so unbelievable that it gave a whole new meaning to the word "fiction."I wasn't drawn into the book, it had potential but was quickly lost. I just wasn't interested. Some of the decisions made by the characters were ridiculous, like returning back to the castle, even when they know it's still not safe. It was cheesy; it had a highschool/childish romance to it. The characters were flimsy. They never changed, never grew up, and their characteristics were annoying. Whining about not being worthy of royalty got old fast. The plot was predictable. The story line was ok but it contained too many unbelievable elements to be really enjoyable. To illustrate, after initially helping Staci to escape, Kirk is on Lidya's most wanted list yet his boat is not watched, his parents who live in the palace grounds are not watched, he manages to climb over the palace wall to visit his parents! Really? Palace security is that lax? Even at the end of the story he still has access by thumb print to palace equipment! I don't think so.
What do You think about Protecting The Princess (2012)?
I really enjoyed reading this book it is full of adventure. A well written story of gods love.
