I can't tell you the awesome sauce that is enfolded in the pages of this book. But I'm in serious book hangover mode. My heart actually hurts from that ending, even though you knew that Adrial and Talisa's fate could never end in happiness. (Hey, I would say get rid of the honor, and just do whatever pleases you!--this is why I could never star in epic fantasy. To selfish.) I am incredibly angry that I have to wait till tomorrow to read the ending--and so help me there better be a happy one or someone is going to rip her hair out. (ei. Me. Please no more divergent endings. NOT THAT! ANYTHING BUT THAT, NO NOT EVEN THAT, GIVE ME A HAPPY ENDING GOSH DANGIT.) I can see why people like this author so much. This is an incredible story. (thatneedstoendonaHAPPYveryfreakinghappyNOTE.)I do have one complaint. I understand the darkness of their situation, but I really wanted to see a little bit more light. It makes it hard to read with unrelenting strain and destruction going on. (Like maybe instead of whats her face being married and then both of them, opps befalling a fate of which I will not say, finding her in time and bonding and BEING HAPPY. I need this next book to be happy. Desperately, if you can't tell. ok, what is the go with Adrial and Talisa? It made me really sad and they seemed to be in the story for no apparent reason, I hope in the next book there is a reason they were brought into my life and then ripped away. Also, the mother. what is going on here? Is she actually alive? But her head was severed from her body, so that there is no coming back- I'm hoping that she's just an apparition in the girls mind, while she's going through the Mist. I was kind of hoping the two girls would grow to love their guardians, so I'm fingers crossing that they turn out ok.Ellie is fantastic. She is crossing all of the paths before her in manners true to her form. Scared, but not backing down. I feel sad that we may soon lose Rain to the madness, and that the elves aren't helping out more. Although I understand why they cannot. Maybe they should take the eye of truth and throw it into the Elves water/mirror. Something useful is bound to come up then :)Grammar in this book (kindle edition) was very annoying. There was no break in paragraph from one scene to another, so every-time it swapped back to a different area, I got pulled out from the story and had to get resettled, as like last book, I know it's not the authors fault, but rather an issue with the conversion. But it's still bloody annoying. For example:........................... "aiyah but it wasn't out truthespeaking that drew him" The pair turned their piercing eyes on Ellysetta."I wasn't truthspeaking. How could I be, when I've never done it before?" Ellysetta paced the confines of Lord Teleos private audience chamber........ WTF? we were in a tent then next sentence with no break we're in a private audience chamber with a different group of people. I'm sure you can see my annoyance, as I have to stop, re-read and gather my bearings again. The human King and Queens broken relationship is a sad one, And I don't think it will ever be fixed, however if she had been queen for a while, she would have ad to stand through other things as well, and this didn't seem like something that required some vehemence on her part. But I suppose that's how the mages sow their seeds. Can't wait for everything to get wrapped up in the next book. I'm busting to have questions answered, and I really really hope that they do. I'm always a bit trepidatious about finales, as not often am I left feeling completed, and satisfied. Either I feel like the stories been rushed, has been a huge anti climax, especially the normal 'final fights' where they're like MEH, just as easy as the previous ones, or they end with a BAM happily ever after. And while I do love a good happy ending, it needs to be believable.FINGERS CROSSED!!!
