This book was really good.... It had such a twisted plot that i truly never saw coming! Single mom raising 2 girls, and she is a politician. The family next door are polar opposites from the family, and all the more enticing... especially one cute boy in particular...?You really get sucked in and then GASP! the unexpected happens and you are just along for the ride after that.. and does love win out in the end???? read it!! and find out! This book was a feel good easy read. I read it within a day, I skimmed through the ending (I know cheat ahhh)So this book is about a girl Samantha, her mother is all involved with politics and a perfectionist whose always tidying. When she's a toddler a family move in next door, 5 kids and their 2 parents, as the years go by they have 3 more. The third eldest is a seventeen year old boy Jase, Jase is tall and good looking, he fixes things (including cars and motorbikes) he wants to go to college but a family with 8 children has enough money problems as it is.Samantha and Jase meet and fall in love, but god forbid her mother finds out, she's not the familys biggest fan. Everything's ok in Samantha's life; Jase, sucesful mum, no money problems, a best friend, 2 jobs, college plans, babysits Jase's younger siblings. But they all start to fall apart, and not across the book, in like 3 chapters! Her mother does something that effects Jase's family in a huge way.At the end of this book I got bored as the focused on the mum more than the relationship, and it was a lot of what happens and how they feel rather than much dialogue. So Samantha's mum and her boyfriend really annoy me, they always did the wrong this, their dialogue bored me I just couldn't follow their conversations , a couple of times I just scanned through the paragraphs reading dialogue.I do wish we'd have seen more Samantha and Jase moments, I feel that there weren't that many.
