No. Just... No. It was so repetitive, and just plain boring the whole way through. Nothing really interesting happened, and I just didn't connect with the story at all.. By far the worst book out of the three. Would not recommend to anyone, unless you like repetitive boring stuff. I even skipped a chunk of pages in the middle, and it did not make a difference to the story. It was just the same stuff over and over again.. Definitely the best of the trilogy, but it took a lot to look past some of the gaping holes. The timeline being first and foremost - the first two books and first half of this one took place in the span of a single year? Really? Though I did appreciate that she took the effort to wrap up some things from the first book that I'd forgotten I should be wondering about. The love triangle got a little ridiculous, as Cassia is absolutely forgettable compared to the other women in Ky and Xander's lives. There's a lot to complain about (WTF is "sorting" that it's such a valuable skill?), but there ended up being a lot of really good stuff on society (lower case), revolution, etc., so I'll forgive a lot of the stupid and still give a good, solid three stars. Made it worthwhile to have gotten through that second book.
What do You think about Reached (2012)?
I can't help but skimming through pages. I've expected so much from this final book.
