This book was not an easy read, it was emotionally exhausting, but I absolutely had to finish it. If you're looking for a light fun romance to read this is not your book. There is no light humor in this story, it's a down and dirty obsessive love story. The cast of characters are well defined with distinct personalities, the storyline is engaging, and you will be rooting for these two people to find their HEA. Will be reading the remaining books in the series. This book was incredible! One of my favorite reads this year. Ironically, I wasn't sure I wanted to read it after a friend revealed Remy's dark secret to me. I'd actually stopped reading it after the spoiler, but I picked it up a few days ago and was blown away. The writing flowed beautifully, the storyline captivated me and I could not stop reading until I found out what happened to these characters. The story was original and fascinating and the characters were the most REAL I've read about in a long time. Excellent.
