Novel ini membuka cerita tentang "siapa sebenarnya Eric Donovan" sosok kakak tertua yg begitu kaku; bertanggung jawab; sangat tdk suka dg inovasi; begitu tergila2 dengan pabrik bir sampai dtg sosok "heroine" Beth Cantrel, seorang manajer White Orchard yg begitu menarik hati; lucu tetapi tertutup dan sangat membuat Eric frustasi.Pertemuan mereka di pameran dagang sangat tdk terduga; dari awal hubungan mrk didasari oleh komitmen "one night stand" tetapi Erick membumbuhi dg "kebohongan kecil" yang berdampak sangat besar.Ketika akhirnya mrk bertemu lagi, dan heroine tahu sapa sebenarnya sang hero rasa marah begitu memuncak shg sang heroine mendamprat hero krn begitu mudah mengucapkan kebohongan. Tetapi sapa yg tdk luluh ketika sang hero dg ketulusan meminta maaf dan berharap bisa tetap berhubungan dg sang heroine.Kalo kmrn baca novel Jamie gw kesel banget sama si Eric, eh skrg baca novel si Eric gw bener2 pengen nonjok si Jamie. Harus ancungkan 2 jempol krn author mengemas emosi dg begitu cantik dan menarik. Love it Read this when it was called "Just One Taste" and bundled with two other novellas. So I figured that was that.Does anyone know if anything significant has changed from that incarnation to this one as a full book?EDIT: JOT was simply a wonderful, tasty prequel to this delicious book. It may have been more vanilla than other books of this nature, but its authenticity made it all the more spicy for me. It validated and confirmed a lot of things I have though. I loved Beth's modern, sexually liberated woman who just wants to be "comfortable" in bed. Her kink for preppy is almost kind of funny, in a cute and earnest way.

liked it better than 'bad boys do' but not as much as the first one (which i liked but not loved). i'm feel like i'm having/had a "it's not you it's me" situation with this series or victoria dahl in general, i'm not too sure. all i know is while i liked this, i'm not sure if i liked it quite enough for a 3 stars but i do know 2 stars would be far too low too so basically i'm not rating it because it's probably a 2.80 or 2.90 and sadly, i can't translate that into a star rating system (i take ratings very seriously okay!!).
