Rebelonging (2000) - Plot & Excerpts

First I just have to say the covers are amazingly HOT. There was so much honesty it was brutal, to a point where they were still misunderstood which led to very heart jerking break ups, wow. It was nice to see Chloe put her foot down like the one month break up, kudos. Of course they got back together but with a much better if not entirely new understanding of each other. Which would have so much easier if Chloe just told Lawton everything, sheesh. Lawton clearly loves Chloe, who would consume a whole bowl of Oyster Gravy when their allergic to shell fish? A man who doesn't want the woman he loves or someone she loves to hurt, that’s Lawton. Don’t even get me started on that witch of a stepmother or her weak anal father. Thoroughly enjoyed this book I soooo recommend this. On to the next, Illegal Fortunes. 4.5 stars for the sequel. This book is so complex, there are so many things going on all the time. It's like a roller coaster. These two break up and make up more than u can think. But in the end their love is stronger than any secret or fight. Lawton has her back all the time and he's there for her even when she sometimes doesn't deserve it. Because she's exagerating in some situations and tormenting the poor guy unnecessarily. But as i said in the end their love conquers all and we get a happy ending. Now i'm curious to read Bishop's story. I think it will be a very good one. He's so full of himself :)) i love this kind of arrogant / confident guy

What do You think about Rebelonging (2000)?

Sad I wasted my time. Two books could have been one well written one had the author not decided so. Blatant cut and paste from the first book. Author also finds reality TV funny (grown women fighting and throwing food like monkeys) instead of disturbing and weaves elements of it into this and the previous book. Don't waste your time. I would have to get Bishop's book for free in order to care about where he lands, but seriously a tarot card reader?

Now where Unbelonging hooked me. Rebelonging didn't.Don't get me wrong. All of the elements I needed for the HEA came together and our couple finally sort out their issues and end up together, and all of the really annoying back-up characters get what's coming to them. But once our lovers get together the book winds down too quickly. If you liked Unbelonging you need Rebelonging to have closure.
