Review:I am interesting in this story. This short story got me wanting to know more like what happen next. Did the little sister finally got a real friend or did she finally control her magic. As for the short preview, I am a little confused. I want to know why the woman brought her in the office for questioning. Did she know that her brother's daughter or she was just making sure that is 100% her niece? The story was ok, it reminded me of manga aimed at the female audiences. This story is based in the world of the main books, and the quick short story is a good way to introduce the reader to the world built by Ms Black. The quick pace of the story is a great way to make the reader stay engaged. And having the first person point of view makes it an easy read. I could easily imagine this as a good manga. Other than that the copy includes first two chapters of Glimmerglass, this time with a different protagonist but same world/city/world. I like the worldbuilding in this and after reading a small part of the main book, it makes me want to pick it up and read the series. I am no expert at YA Novels and or stories but I might read more of this genre next year.
What do You think about Remedial Magic (2010)?
Very short back ground story with a preview sample for the first book in the series.
