Once again, Joey is a great character, loving his transformation :) he went from a man whore who claimed never to be a relationship kinda guy to madly in love with Lacey. Now as for Lacey, oh my god, Joey deserves a medal! For most if the book she was crying. She sorta got on my nerves a little. Good story line, tho I don't think this was as good as the first book, and once again found myself skipping most of the sex scenes. :( Like many other lower-star reviews, I am a HUGE Jenn Foor fan and LOVED Repair Me, however this book didn't quite hit the mark. There was way too many cousins (married in or not)sleeping with each other. There has got to be more people in this town for these guys to hook up with.Read Repair Me before reading this review as it will spoil the first book. Book one left off with Shayne knowing who the real father of Ashley's baby was the whole time she messed with Ford's head. This knowledge pissed off Ford and of course pissed off Lacey, Shayne's girlfriend. Well, she thought they were exclusive, but he didn't and played around a bit while they were together. Now that she is gone, he realized what he has lost. Now Lacey that and Shayne are broken up, in walks in Ford's cousin Joey and let the confusion begin. Joey is Ford's cousin, not Shayne's, Shayne and Ford are cousins, so Joey and Shayne are not actually related, however still have to see each other at family functions. Get all of that? So as much as Lacey does not want to like Joey because he is a bigger player than Shayne, things work out a different way and he ends up (ah hum) comforting her. So now we have Joey and Lacey, Shayne still wanting Lacey but living with Ashley and some new chick Megan. I felt that Megan didn't fit into the story anywhere and if the next book is about them I will scream.I really didn't like Lacey's character this time around. She was way to wishy-washy and caused more trouble than she needed too. Yes she did just get out of a relationship, but how did she think jumping right into another one with a knows player would be easy? On the other hand I liked Joey and would want to know more about him if he weren't with Lacey. So things with Lacey and Joey are moving right along and that leaves Shayne at a crossroads in his lie with Ashley. He takes a turn I thought I saw coming and hoped it didn't because it makes things even more convoluted within this "family".Replace Me is just that, everybody replacing their significant other with somebody new except for Ford and Sky, which I was glad about. Jenn Foor writes some sexy stuff, however this story line was a bit too much for me. I am sticking with the series, as I see a Joey novella is on its way and after Ford, he is my favorite.
What do You think about Replace Me (2000)?
This is the only Jennifer Foor book that didn't quite hit the spot for me,

Not as exciting as most of her books however, I still enjoyed.
