In this third installment of the Soulkeepers Series, the Soulkeepers scramble to find the remaining Soulkeepers and get them to Eden before the Watchers kill them off. If that wasn’t bad enough, Lucifer offers Dr. Silva the chance of a lifetime. However, Dr. Silva must betray God, and in doing so, the Soulkeepers, to have what her heart truly desires. Gideon, however, is determined to save Abigail at any cost. When Death breaks the rules, and fails to deliver a soul to God or Satan, he finds himself in a dilemma that could end in the loss of his immortality and the love of his life. In the midst of all of this chaos, Lucifer is raising hell on earth…literally.GP Ching is a great writer. Her descriptive writing is amazing. I loved that we were introduced to new Soulkeepers. However, I hated that some of those introductions were very short-lived, as they were killed off before you could get to know them. I loved the personification of Time and Death. But, hated that God’s character wasn’t portrayed better. Even though Malini gave out orders, she seemed useless in this book, which was a far cry from the last book. Some parts were a bit unrealistic (i.e. Eden having computers. It was a little inconsistent (i.e. Time taking sides, when the last book said that Death couldn’t).I didn’t like this book as much as the first one. It was all over the place at times, and didn’t flow as well. It seemed a little rushed. However, it wasn’t bad enough to keep me from continuing the series. I am in love with the characters. My favorite characters in this book were Mara and Lucifer. Lucifer was the comic relief in this book. I have read the three books in this series in four days. It's a story that kept me up into the wee hours of the night with my kindle. Not sure why but this book was a little difficult to stay tied to compared to the other two, I can't exactly put my finger on the reason why. Despite that, the ending is beautifully done and such a happy way to tie things up. Looking forward to the fourth book coming soon!
