The book was ok 3.5I was looking for a very good revenge story. This story was not it but it was good nonetheless Too many romantics scenes, and thoughtsI love the parts where he change his perspective however she finds out and get mad and he try to get back to her ❤️I don't think the hero was represented so well I don't understand him that muchAs for the others "The Jaded" I don't think we also knew them that much. I'm looking forward to read their stories. The prologue shows the reader the friendship of several men in Bengal, India in 1857. The rest of the story takes place mostly in London in 1859. John Everly and Galen Hawke are 2 of the friends from Bengal. After John dies, John's "fiance" becomes engaged rather quickly to someone else. Galen decides he is going to seek revenge on behalf of his friend.In the course of true romance, tables have a way of turning and everything is not as it appears. Also, there is trouble afoot.A little dry at the beginning, but the story quickly picks up.
