I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The second book on the series lived up to every amazing expectation I had. I feel like such a naughty little minx with the amount of love I have for this book and this series. Dag again is my favorite in Rhythm of Three which had me squirming and going a little cross-eyed at certain parts. Dag, Chris, and Kassidy are in a menage relationship and struggling to figure out how to navigate their tricky and unconventional lifestyle. It's difficult because everyone knows Chris and Kassidy as a couple in-love but where does that leave Dag? These are questions that lurk heavily in this book. I fell more in love with Dag as he showed some real vulnerability yet a fierce protectiveness of Kassidy and Chris. He and Chris shared more intimate time together and surprisingly, I found their scene to be the most tender and sexy scene in the series thus far. There was something about their feelings finally coming to light and it didn't hurt that they're both incredibly hot. Loved the three. Loved their friends. Loved Kassidy's parents. I even loved Kassidy's sister. I did NOT love Chris's mom or dad. Boo to their disgusting personalities. Can't wait for Reward of Three!!! I first stumbled across Rule of Three (book 1) back when it was a stand alone novel. I’d never read a book about a polyamorous relationship and I, of course, was curious. I was worried that it would be all about the sex and that would be it. Now trust me, I’m all about the hot steamy scenes but I’m also a sucker for actual relationships and feelings. So, I was pleasantly surprised by the book and really enjoyed it. When I found out Kelly had added 2 more books I was ecstatic and eagerly signed up to participate in sharing this series with the world. There is so much emotion and feeling involved with this triad. They’re dealing with a lot to have this unusual relationship and I found myself easily drawn into their world yet again.Dag, Kassidy, and Chris worked really hard to get their relationship in Rule of Three and Rhythm of Three picks up right where it left off. They not only have to learn how to communicate and maintain a relationship as a unit, they also have one-on-one relationships with each other to figure out as well (especially Dag and Chris). There was a lot of soul searching going on and learning to be confident enough to share their relationship with people they care about. All 3 of them show positive changes throughout this book. Dag is tamed and is more willing to settle down, Kassidy has let herself be a little more wild (which has helped her confidence), and Chris is getting more comfortable with communicating and admitting his feelings. Even though all 3 of them have very different personalities, they also compliment each other and it works for them. The story line in this book is full of some seriously hot scenes but also some emotional ones as well. These characters (especially Kassidy and Chris) have to learn to toughen up to deal with the difficulties of a triad relationship, especially when it comes to others and being accepted. There is a lot of personal growth going on during this story and it was enjoyable to watch these characters grow, mature, and become stronger people because of this relationship. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to the 3rd and final book in the series. 5 out of 5 stars!
What do You think about Rhythm Of Three (2013)?
It was ok just overly sappy. How many times can one say I love you in a book?
