This is a wonderful story of redemption. I often forget that not everyone comes to know Jesus as their personal savior in the traditional method of going to church but it often occurs through someone they meet who makes that difference in their lives. That is exactly what happens to Brooke in this book. She meets Sky as a mail order bride for someone else. Sky really has to prove to Brooke that he is not like all the other men in her life and the reason is because of his close and personal relationship with Jesus. This story has not only the biblical side to it but also a lot of action, mystery, and real love. This will definitely be a favorite to be read again and again! This was a sweet romantic story about an abused mail-order bride and an accidental husband. I really enjoyed it. It had just the right amount of suspense and intrigue to keep the pages turning. Both the hero and the heroine are well developed and their motivations make sense. There were many characters introduced as well. While that could make the story difficult to navigate, it didn’t, because they were all deep and well-developed. I look forward to getting to know them better in later books. There was a bold message of faith woven through the story as well. All in all, a great read.
I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading this authors other works.
