I don't find, that the three books were adult fiction at all. New Adult comes to my mind, same with Young Adult too. My TakeI really liked the first one, Dark Descendant and the second one, Deadly Descendant but this one? Oh, god.[ I agree with Kathy Davie comment ] Primarily because Nikki's character is so incredibly boring, hypocritical, AND selfish with her stupid bleeding heart---it was just too easy for the Olympians to set them up. Nikki is the goddess of hunt; Artemis descendant but we don't see any kind of change in her, like practicing her supposed powers, like hunting or talking to wild animals. We all know that she has an great aim with guns or other weapons or non weapons [bricks]. She had no growth as a character to me, by now we should have seen more growth into a huntress. Next was the lack of any type of full romance[ The kisses didn't cover it for me], that was why all three books should have been down graded to either NA or more likely YA. Nothing is the book was too bad for teens to read. [ Most do bad things already] Jamaal, likeable yes. He as a romance interested to the main character NO!. Sorry, i can't see it, he rude and always pushing Nikki away. Then she follows him like a doormat! For the heroine in this book, she not supposed to be like that, sure it's okay to chase after him but after the third or forth rejection, Nikki should have learned her lesson. I would like her either with a few people than Jamaal, One Anderson...why I'm not fully sure why but one is that she knows his secret. Two he is honest with her, three they spend more time together then Jamaal[ He is ordered to be with Nikki when missions come]. Blake.... yes i know play boy and descendant of Eros. But he is nicer now then when we first meet him. More likely to keep her sister; Steph and even himself from having a heart break. [Bleeding Heart Nikki]. Jack that would be very funny with them together. [ Scene playing within my mind and it sounds and looks funny]. I have one more, but I'm not going to type it down as I'm not really sure why i would actually want them together yet even after what he did to Nikki. Third book in the series and Nikki is being to accept and use her mythological powers. Loved the mystery of Rogue Descendant which had been building over the last couple of books but I hate the cliffhangers it left me with. I'm not going to spill the beans but the major cliffhanger has me wondering what the direction the next in the series will be.Also, can Jamaal and Nikki's relationship EVER move forward. Nikki has to be one of the most sexually frustrated women in America. For shame Jamaal, leaving a woman hanging!! Overall, a good book and a series I am totally invested in.
What do You think about Rogue Descendant (2013)?
confusing... not what I'm expected... disapointed with the plot.... not enjoying the stories..

Audiobook - this was more like 2.75 * for story. Finding Nikki a bit annoying.
