Rosario+Vampire, Season II, Vol. 1 (2010) - Plot & Excerpts

I thought this would be awful but I actually had fun reading it.!I like how the male lead is just weak and useless while all the female characters are awesome! There are some "panty shots" which are just weird and seem out of place to me but it's not too often, and didn't ruin my enjoyment at all (I just found it amusing how stupid they were)I haven't read any of the first series, so don't know what exactly has happened before this but that wasn't a problem at all. I'm a little surprised I like Rosario+Vampire enough to keep reading it. I haven't read any of season 1, I might not go back to it. But it's a fun book. Not really to be taken seriously, but it's cute and silly and has a variety of characters that are almost interesting and, more importantly, that I don't hate. Which is saying something for an majority female cast. There's not a lot of plot in this one, just some romance and love triangles and events that seem unusual to happen on a school campus (serial killers for example). If you don't like fanservice you won't like this series, but if you don't mind it (or actually like seeing big breasts, occasional panty shots, and plenty of full body contact) then you will probably enjoy this manga too. The art is also pretty neat. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a likeable style and of pretty good quality. It's manga, but the artist appears to know about the concept of anatomy and actually cares to use it.My favorite part about this book is that even with all the fanservice aimed at guys, the main male character isn't a pansy. He's no stud, but he doesn't look like a ten year old boy in comparison to all the sexyfied females (see the manga Freezing for a counter-example). Bravo, artist, bravo.

What do You think about Rosario+Vampire, Season II, Vol. 1 (2010)?

Too much of this was Kurumu, Moka, Yukari, and Mizure fighting over Tsukune.
