This was a freebie and now I know why. It was only 99 pages. This was the first "book" in the series. I don't consider 99 pages a novel. The rest of the books are about the same length and each book is priced at $2.99. Sorry, but this reader is not paying $2.99 each for the next 6 books. Had the author combined the series into one complete novel, I would have paid a reasonable price since the first "book" had good character development. Oh boy. Grammar and spelling were fine, but the story made me feel like putting the book down repeatedly. First a slimy boss, them she rushes off head long and is sexually and mentally abused, then she proclaims love, but there is no romance, and no telling of how the new couple get along. Very little character building for most of the men, to the point where I was surprised at which man she married. No desire to read any more from this author.
