So it started quite boring and I hoped it wasn't like the previous book. I was so happy when it eventually changed and got better! At first I wanted to give it 2 stars but because the end was so great and as I said it got better, it made star 4. The books were a bit tedious, the author made a series but everything that happened just could have been in one book. The author also kept repeating the same things Cecily got mature, linden loved and still loves Rose,.. I really liked how it ended, I couldn't believe the big plot twist with Linden. I really like how the characters develop, but that's normal with a story. Rhine was a bit boring because she kept everything that happened to herself and I would've loved to see how the other characters would react. And didn't have the strength like she did in the first book.At first I thought the book was in the category romance but when I finished the trilogy I realized it's more about a girl facing the new world.I'm happy I read the series but I was let down with the second and first part of the third book.I would recommend the series to everyone who can stay interested and can bite through the more boring parts. If you've read the second one, be sure to read this one. I hope this helped ❤️❤️❤️ What can I say about this final book in the trilogy. It was depressing and dark and at times hopeful. This was such a dark Sci-Fi dystopian. The whole concept was disturbing from the get go. In the first book Rhine is taken and made a young bride. Held prisoner against her will. Each time she escaped she was captured and brought back to her prison. She has been lied to, experimented on, drugged. She has had to endure fear, pain, and loss. However, there is a small grain of hope left. An unknown that may be reached with patience. If you are looking for a unique and dark dystopian this is the series to read.
