overall I liked the story. it was a tragedy what happened to Trinity and her mothet when she was little but her father was just too much. i don't blame her for not wanting to go from that situation to a similar one with Rush. after what happened in the hot tub between Trinity and Rush, i was not surprised at the result. when Rush left her at the end, i did't blame Trinity for feeling the way she did about Rush being with other women. if he loved her the way he said he did, he would have fought to be with her instead of taking her father's word as to what she supposedly had done. i just wish this book would have had Rush's pov. Good premise, flat characters.I really liked the premise of the book and I remember early in the book feeling hopeful about being able to latch onto some good meaty characters. Leading guy intentionally lures girl to fall for him, only to fall for her. I think there was an opportunity to lead the girl on further and create a emotionally invoking scenario. Rush was a good guy but needing to fulfill a dirty commitment to his family. I felt like if he had a chance to show his determined dirty side that he would have been more of a compelling bad boy character, but it never panned out. The Rush character came across flat. You never felt too bad for either Rush or Trinity through the author's writing. Although the author described how much of player Rush was, we never really saw it. (NOTE TO AUTHORS: We can't always feel for the characters through your descriptions, we need you to show us through their actions and interactions, meaning more dialogue and situations that expose their feelings of betrayal and heartbreak, and the torture of not being together.)

Looking forward to see how the ending of this pays out in the next book.

Just ridiculous. How many times can one girl end up in the hospital?
