Liam heads to the Isle of Wight to scatter his best friends ashes, but he meets a cutie name Sam who adopts him right off the bat.Liam grew up with Alex and loved him like a brother, and when cancer took him over Alex's last wish was that Liam go to the Isle of Wight - see the beauty he saw and to scatter his ashes. The book is sweet yet rather fast in its emotions - I got choked up when Liam remembered Alex and I wish he didn't die :(The relationship aspect was insta-love and whilst I thought it was a cute story, it was probably 30% too long. Excellent! Sue Brown has excelled herself in this book. As other reviewers has noted the first part is so emotional as Liam prepares to bid a final Goodbye to his best friend Alex by scattering his ashes. Then along comes Sam - all I kept thinking was everyone needs a Sam, bright yet down to earth. The developing relationship between the two guys was a joy and Sam's family members were great, especially his gran Rose. From the story of Alex through the story of Sam's previous abusive relationship to a long distance romance, this book had everything for me with a final HEA as a cherry on top to finish it off. Thoroughly recommended.
What do You think about Sabbia E Sale (2014)?
Sam had the best family ever. Gran Rose was a total darling. I enjoyed this book tremendously.
