Sammy Keyes And The Psycho Kitty Queen (2006) - Plot & Excerpts

Sammy Keyes and the Psycho Kitty Queen was a great book because this book has a lot of twists and turns in this story which you would not expect at all, and the characters were described very well, their appearance and their actions. " A super-sized batty-eyed Barbie... She's middle aged, with super-bleached hair and a mountain of makeup- thick lack eyeliner that curves way up at the corners, three-inch fake eyelashes, sparkly gold eye lashes, and pink lipstick... " Who are you?" she snaps, and her voice is really... snotty". I chose this quote because it shows the lady's personality, and her attitude. I can infer that she will be one of the problems in the book, and is not very friendly. I can infer this because as a rule mean or rude people in a book are the main problems of the story. If this person was not in this story, or not rude, there would be no reason for this story. In conclusion, Sammy Keyes and the Psycho Kitty Queen was a great book because there were unexpected plots, and it was very descriptive.

The book starts out with Sammy visiting her old friend Hudson. Suddenly Hudson's neighbor, Miss. Kitty, accuses Hudson's dog of killing her lost cat. After Hudson proves that his dog couldn't have killed a cat, Miss. Kitty leaves angrily. Sammy is suspicious. The next day was her birthday, and Sammy isn't very lucky. She accidently finds Miss. Kitty's dead cat in a dumpster. The next few days Sammy finds several more dead cats in dumpsters in her city. Who is killing all these cats? Sammy is on a mission to find out. This book was fulled of excitement. It also had a very suprising ending.

What do You think about Sammy Keyes And The Psycho Kitty Queen (2006)?

This book so far is about sammy finding out who is killing these cats in her neighborhood. and why are so many cats are dying what's going on. and sammy is put with lots of pressure because she found out that she is one year younger then she suppose to be.Sammy is so confuse and her mom is not even telling her the truth. As Sammy find those cats in the garbage can she realize that cat that she found was murdered by a person and not just dying out of the blue. as soon she finds a whole buch of cats there's this guy at a tatoo parlor chasing her and her friend and with a butcher knife and she doesn't why this person is hiding somehting from her and sammy is going through so many problems she doesn't which one is important she doesn't what to do when they put so much pressure. i can't wait to see what happen next it's so intense.

Sammy is lovable as always, and the family side of things was great reading with her mother admitting various dumb things from the past leading to Sammy finding out that she is a year younger than she thought she was. Heather's birthday turns out to be the same day which obviously causes drama. The pro-wrestling lesson subplot/sneaky connection was funny. The mystery is scary as Sammy investigates cats disappearing and turning up dead in a gross way. She ends up finding an underground dog/cat fighting ring and really should have died. Sammy's actions were a little heavier/stupid. Like Snake Eyes, this crime and the bad dudes skew a little too dark here to match the jr. high whimsy and romance stuff that make up the other half of the plot.
