Finally, after 15 books, I found out who Sammy's dad was. I don't even know how to react to this news! AAAAHHHH I'M SO HAPPY BECAUSE I LOVE WHO HER DAD IS AND HOW EVERYTHING IS WORKING OUT AND HUDSON AND GRAMS GOT MARRIED AND SAMMY'S MOM DIDN'T MARRY CASEY'S DAD BECAUSE SHE IS IN LOVE WITH DARREN AGAIN AND I LOVE CASEY AND SAMMY AND EVERYTHING ABOUT EVERYONE OH MY GOSH! AND SAMMY AND HEATHER ARE FRIENDS???? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!**That's kind of what's going through my head right now. I liked the revelations about Sammy's mother that helped me to better understand Sammy's situation in earlier books, and the revelation about her father's identity. I've only read one of the earlier books, and find Sammy's spunky, adventuresome, and bold character is refreshing. Sammy's insights into her own behavior in this book, in contrast to her tendency to speak and act without thinking many times, make this story a humorous and intriguing read. Re-read or review it in your mind and you'll find advance clues to the fact that this WILL have a happy resolution. But will archenemies remain for sequels? Sammy's pulling off her underage flight to Las Vegas reminds me of Jonah Baldwin's mission to meet Annie in NYC at the top of the Empire State Building in Sleepless to Seattle -- also for a Valentine's Day adventure without having thought through all that will happen after arriving in a strange new city. However, Sammy on her skateboard has to be even more proactive after her arrival if she's going to track down her mother who knows where?I'm wondering -- with so many former character tensions at least beginning to be resolved, s this the wrapping up of a series, or an opportunity for a brand new setting for Sammy Keyes' mysteries?Will Sammy's best friend help her through her next adventure before moving to Ohio? -- How will Sammy's setting change after she returns from the next book about the "Killer cruise" -- I doubt she would really end up living with Grams and Hudson as she seems to imagine ... I guess we'll have to see if we're wrapping things up ... or taking a turn in Sammy Keyes' future.
