After 10 years of living in the city Danielle, also known as Dani moves back home to be closer to her mom. Dani is tough, independent, hopeless romantic and she dons't take shit from anybody. Dani first encounter with Holden was a bit disturbing but she cant seem to get him out of her mind. Holden and Dani have a real connection and there relationship steams up. Holden and Dani fall in love fast but with family obligation and business affair standing in their way, will their love last. I enjoyed Save Me From Me by Erika Ashby from beginning to end. I felt as if I was watching a movie, with some HOT steamy scene in their. We have every intention of reading them, but somehow something else always comes along and they get bumped. Even though I purchased each book on it's release date this is what happened to Erika Ashby's Timing is Everything series.Though I had heard Moving Forward was an amazing read life and other books just always seemed to get in the way. There is something about meeting an author in person that makes your desire to read their book elevate. Erika is one of the most amazing people I've ever met! Pure awesome is the best way I can think of to describe her. So when I was given the chance to read Save Me From Me I jumped all over it. And to be honest I liked the idea of reading a book from a series without having prior knowledge of the characters. For those who have read Moving Forward you will have met Holden before. Don't even think about it though...that man is MINE! Prior claims are not acknowledged. Dani is brash and in your face and loves her mother fiercely. Moving home after the loss of her father she thinks she needs to protect her mother from her half siblings. Some of the things her mother put up with drove me BUG NUTS!!!! I felt like smacking her in the face just to knock some sense into her. But when you think about it, there isn't much you wouldn't do for your children. And grandchildren...yeah, I get why she did. The first time Dani meets Holden may be one of my favorite "first meetings" I spent a few minutes laughing my ass off! Holden is strong, sexy, and mine. Oh...did I say that Holden is mine yet?! The story moves along quickly and draws you in. You will laugh, you will cry, but most of all you will fall in love with the world Erika created. I have said many times that authors are magic. And Erika is her own special brand of fairy dust. After reading SMFM I am going back to read the other three books in the series. They just got moved to the top of my TBR! ~Amber
