A different love story with a great start. Labelled as "Romantic Suspense" you don't find anything sexual in the first 9/10 of the book. There's neither much action. You get a glimpse of the life on a navy ship. Eric is described quite well as an honorable but unbelievably oldfashioned captain. We learn about his past and some of his thoughts but we don't learn anything about Abby - and her story should have been the more interesting. Then there's this terrorist every reader will be waiting to see how he's going to react. But disappointingly he doesn't react at all. This story concept was great, a captain rescues a pregnant women whose been held captive as a sex slave. The story itself was good but not great, I don't feel completely connected to the characters there was not a lot of emotion for me I wanted to get head over heels into this story but couldn't quit get into it. I thought Eric and Abby having the HEA was great along with Rachel and happy for them but the story itself was just ok, no wow for me. 3 stars
