I have to say I think this one has been my favorite of the series so far. Even though I loved Dare and Trace, there was just something about this storyline I seemed to like more, and Jackson was just so cocky you couldn't help but fall fast for him. Where the other two storylines built up to the two characters "hooking up" this one was opposite and pretty much started with that and only seemed to get hotter and hotter. Even though Alani was more docile, I still enjoyed reading her parts. She was strong and brave in her own way, and considering what she had been through I'm not sure how else I expected her to act. I can't wait to read what sort of trouble Arizona will get herself into in the next book with Spencer. With her attitude I'm sure it will make for an interesting read. Jackson is part of a team that includes Dare and Trace. He met Trace’s sister, Alani, when he started working with these guys and has had had a thing for her since then but didn't act on his feelings because he knew Trace would have had a fit and, also Jackson didn't get into relationships because of stuff from his past. Alani has also secretly crushed on Jackson so when she wakes up with Jackson after the most wonderful night of her life and sees the confusion in his eyes, she is devistated. Then, to make everything even worse, Jackson runs to the bathroom where he is violently ill. Alani can’t handle the look in his eyes so she runs off. After a couple of trips to the bathroom, Jackson realizes that he has been drugged and can't remember anything of the night before, but instead of figuring out who drugged him, he searches for Alani. Most of the characters work together to find out who drugged Jackson and why.Like Dare and Trace, Jackson can handle absolutely anything that comes up. He can rescue missing people anywhere around the world or save a stray cat. And, since he is so perfect, he is huge and gorgeous. I really liked Jackson but had issues with him always wanting sex and having an erection. I know that men ALWAYS want sex but he over did it. Going along with that, he was constantly saying/thinking that Alani was so sexy. I got tired of hearing that. But Alani keeps Jackson on his toes. Since she is used to the work her brother Trace does, she is accepting of the things Jackson gets involved in. She actually helps him with his cases a few times which surprises Jackson. She even tries to help keep Arizona out of trouble. She's not always successful, but she does try. This is a great series and I would recommend this book if you like romantic suspense.
