Scandali E Altri Rimedi (Italian Edition) (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
It is sad when a person love another and the love is unrequited, such as the case with this couple. Would I read again? Yes, but, in the distant future or during the rainy season. What I like:The author writing style: good dialogue always keeps the pages turning. At first, I thought the hero was somewhat of a push over, however he prove himself to be otherwise. I really enjoyed the growth development of the heroine. Some time you don't really see that happen in novels, but this one was clearly visible. I liked the author adding a second romance between Oliver and Fanny. What I did not like:I think, I could not accept the hero's backstory as to how he had become so envious of his brother and his air of responsibility. It did not feel believable. LOL on their very-public reconciliation - and how come Roxana didn't explain her side of the story on their misunderstanding, only Alex? He forgave her for a crime she didn't commit! And clearly Alex is too much of Darcy, George is Wickham, Roxana is a mix of Lizzy and Lydia, and Fanny is Jane. Too bad Oliver is not Bingley. Thankfully Mrs Langley is not Mrs Bennet and there is no Lady Catherine nor Collins!

A bit slow and not as snarky as I prefer but a solid book.
