Score - Plot & Excerpts

Dad would think it was odd if I didn’t come home and I’m an awful liar. He’d notice something was wrong in seconds.I barely slept that night. I hadn’t been with a lot of men, but in my limited experience, once I started having sex with someone we were able to do it whenever we wanted. That honeymoon period never lasted as long as I liked, but it was good all the same.  Jaxon and I, on the other hand, had sex just once and then had to sleep in separate beds. That was the last thing I wanted. My body craved him. I considered sneaking into his room, but the thought of being caught in the act by my dad acted as a pretty good cold shower. The first thing I did when I woke up was send my boss an email to tell him that I would be spending the day with Jaxon again. I didn’t even bother to make up a convincing story. He would be so excited at the progress he assumed I was making that he wouldn’t care. It struck me as a little odd that I was getting out of work by being honest—sort of—about how I planned to spend my day, but so be it.  Dad left the house first to open up whichever of the the shops he was going to work at today, but Carrie didn’t leave until ten o’clock.
