This book was so much fun to read! Amelia had actually gotten on my nerves in the first book of this series with her meddling and know-it-all ways. It was fun to see her pay the price for trying it with Prue's life. Malcom was everything a good Scottish hero in a romance novel should be. His arrogance was amusing when I wasn't imagining doing him in myself. What an arrogant ass! I had moments when I actually hoped Amelia would find a good, heavy candelabra and bash him in the head with it! Lol They truly belonged together! It was well written mad I enjoyed the story; I really like that this series focuses on a strong group of female friends. But I've come to dislike outright lying in romance novels and I fear there is too much of that in this one. The trouble isn't because of a forgotten encounter in the past or a scandal borne out of the main characters' connection, it is because she outright lies, because she doesn't feel he deserves to know the truth about her. If that is how you feel how can you claim love?
I really am loving Sara Ramsey's books and can't wait to read Ellie and Prudence's stories next.

Liked this one better than the first one. Amelia & Malcom do fit perfectly.
