Searching For Tomorrow (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

This was a well-written love story with a ton of ups and downs. I enjoyed the change of time from past to present. I liked seeing how the relationship formed because it gave more credibility to Wrynn's current reality. I also enjoyed that this book was not predictable; I thought it would be about a woman who wanted to move forward in her romantic life, but it focused more on her personal struggles and how to raise her three girls when their father was no longer there. There were a few ugly cry moments, so be prepared for that! A Breathtaking MasterpieceThis book is takes place in Highland, NC. Ms. Crane was so descriptive with the seasons and landmarks it wasn’t hard to envision yourself there or smelling the nature around you. Her characters have strong souls and presence. You instantly fall in love with her characters, they are just like your normal everyday family. She kept them simple and not over exaggerated. She does intertwine the past and the present in this book, but she does this very flawlessly and doesn’t lose and confuse you with this. Ms. Crane has written a very suspenseful story that is endearing to anyone that has had military in their family. A modern day romance between Tripp and Wrynn. Following their adventures from childhood through adult. Remembering the days of 9-11 and those that enlisted in the Military. The emotional battles that military life can give you. Ms. Crane also brought in the WWP (Wounded Warrior Project) and what they do for the Military families. I laughed, and I cried with this storyline. And I healed. She brought true meaning of what it is to grieve for those that have left us and how hard it is to regain ourselves and to go on. For anyone that wants to feel true love this is a must read book.

What do You think about Searching For Tomorrow (2013)?

I had little sympathy for the main character and found the whole thing unrealistic.
