I recieved Second Chance Love as an Arc for my honest review. I have read the first five and i have to say this was by far my favorite story. Roni and Rooster are truely a love story come true. Laramie gave us what we all wanted the drama, the emotion and finally the love. I also love how she brings the other charcaters back to us. As a parent I wanted to strangle Drew for his bad judgement. But it also showed how a family can pull together and help the ones they love. I wil have to say 5 stars aren't enough for this one. Briscoe did it again. This is a good coming of age story, taking two characters who have waited a long time to be together, and bringing them into the sunshine in the present. This passage takes courage, and a lot of secrets come out. Sometimes telling the truth is the only way.A few other surprises happen along the way, and some surprising opposition to the President of the Club. Things are changing for the Heaven Hill Club and the members are stretching and growing, some of them finding peace and happiness that they have never experienced before. There's a particularly nice surprise at the end. Good one.
