Brilliant follow up. I always find second and third books to lack same pull as the first in the story but Second Hearts was just as brilliant as Saving Wishes.I loved Charli all that bit more, she is a character I would love to be like. So cool and sassy with a true spirit and grounded attitude.I loved Ryans introduction and his interaction with Charli...just brilliant.Adam, although still adorable, had me frustrated with his lack lustre. I kept waiting for him to pull it out the bag and show Charli how much he truly loved her but he let me down several times!A super second book. Uggghh. I enjoyed Saving Wishes but there were so many problems with this book. Charlie turns her nose up at Adam's snobby, rich friends but she is no less catty or bitchy than the worst of his friends. Charlie has few redeeming qualities. She says she loves New York yet she is counting down the days until she can get out of there. Which is it Charlie? And she is sooooo in love with Adam but she bails from her marriage at the first sign of conflict. She couldn't even stick around long enough for her one year anniversary.
This continues where Saving Wishes left off. I have grown fond of Charli.
