I had seen it in movies. I was happy to be taking in the experience in person. It was a warm spring evening so we sat at table on the patio. Between the greenery on the patio and being at the edge of Central Park, it was easy to forget that we were in the center of Manhattan. We decided to go a little more casual for dinner. Brandon was wearing charcoal gray dress slacks, a light blue dress shirt, unbuttoned at the collar, and a navy blue blazer. I had on a black, above the knee, skirt and a light pink blouse. Underneath I was wearing a lacy pink bra and panties. I was looking forward to Brandon removing them later. “So, what did you think about your fist day at work?” asked Brandon after we ordered. “Well, I don't know if you can call getting my ID and filling out employment forms 'work',” I said. “Necessary red tape. It will get more interesting. You have a lot on your plate getting the department up and running.”
