But the choice wasn’t his. He had obligations to the band and Luke. So instead of dragging Sophie to bed, he dragged her along to the hotel. They slipped unnoticed through a back entrance. Nathan had to hand it to Luke. The man had become a veritable expert at organizing unobtrusive entrances. He knew every back door of every hotel they’d ever stayed in. Nathan pulled Sophie into an empty elevator. His mouth was on hers before the doors had fully closed. Christ, he couldn’t stop touching her. Holding her. Kissing her. Sophie’s hands were everywhere. Tangled in his hair, cupping his cheeks—and his butt cheeks—smoothing over his shoulders. Then they were tunneling beneath his shirt, her palms gliding over his bare flesh. Gooseflesh covered his skin as he lost himself to her smell and feel and taste. Time ceased to exist. Space ceased to exist. There was only him and Sophie. The dinging of the bell was a nasty intrusion. Nathan had to wrench himself away from her warmth. He limped out of the elevator, panting.
