I read this book, because it came highly recommended. I don't know if this book was bad or if it just didn't live up to my expectation, but I didn't enjoy reading it. It was boring and it felt like it was made up of bits and pieces from a bunch of other books I'd already read. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never did. I've been assured that the rest of the series is what makes it awesome, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see... 3.5stars. Wow. Probably the best written book I've read in a while. No typos, grammatical errors, no too big of words being used, this author is talented. It was a fun read, loved that Kate finally talked with Patrick. (I get why it had to take forever, but man that took forever!) I'm excited to read the next in the series. I've heard it's even better! And I'm really hoping for more Kate and Patrick!
