There was order, but as time passed there arose the law of chaos and there became a need for a return to balance, elements needed to be adjusted to restore order to the cosmos. In a universe near the center of the cosmos a race evolved from this need for restoring balance - they were known as Kalactins. Their role was to find ways of helping maintain the balance of forces or recover balance wherever it had been lost. The transmission of very subtle energies played a great role in maintaining this order and the mechanism for adjusting and transmitting these energies turned out to be through what is called organic life. Therefore planets throughout the universe were seeded with organic life to maintain this fragile balance. Each life form had a role to play and each life form understood its inherent role in the balance of everything. Kalactins became known as Sentinels of the Cosmos and their job was to maintain this balance of energies. The Kalactins seeded countless worlds with various life forms in the ever ending quest for this delicate balance.
