What can I say? This book left me in stitches. Was it romantic? YES. Was it Funny? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Very much. I happen to find Shane a new heartthrob. I thought the story was a brilliant mix of humor, sex, sass and romance. 4 Solid 'I don't want a chicken' Stars. If I had to comment on anything that kind of threw me off were 2 things. 1. The ending was a bit too sappy, for my taste. But I appreciate the authors vision in writing it. 2. It was predicable. But that didn't take away from the ability to enjoy the story line. Shoot, many people love that. I tend to heir on the side of 'keep me guessing.' Nevertheless, the book was rave worthy. And I think author should be immensely proud. I don't think I could have came up with so many brilliant comments and retorts to some of the circumstances.....And the sex was pretty hot, too! Amanda Bishop is a wild, funny, sarcastic young woman who creates three criteria for the guys she dates. So far, they've kept her from getting her heart broken - and they've also kept her from putting herself out there enough to get her heart broken. Shane Reed is the trainer at Amanda's gym that she loves to hate, trading barbs with him during work outs. After several group get-togethers Amanda and Shane start to realize their animosity has been masking attraction. But, Shane does not meet Amanda's criteria so she vows to stay away from him. Of course, it wouldn't be much of a book if she actually did stay away.I loved reading this book. And Amanda would have been so fun to have as a friend, with her wittiness and craziness. And Shane - hawt, hawt, hawt - and nice! The other characters were also fun and the book was well-written, and I didn't want to put it down. Oh, and don't forget about the hot sex! I still can't stop chuckling over Amanda's boss - Master Bader!
