Shadow's Stand was one heck of a romance. And I'm very excited to read some other Hells Eight books! I was honestly surprised by how contemporary this historical felt, which made it so much easier for me to enjoy the story. I would definetley reccomend this book to fans of historical's and people who aren't as excited by the genre as a whole. Cause I'm not the biggest historical fan but dang did I love Shadow and Fei's story! Ont he run for saving family when family always comes first. Yet, making decisions is a family thing, isn't it? Shadow has seem to forget that family is just that first and they will be there for you regardless. Shadows trip has been intense with hide and seek games from the law in which he beame outlaw, will it find him at last and destroy him or will he prevail when family is called in? Wait and see.... Burning hot here, burning hot. Have not been able to put the book series down. Shadow's Stand is another book you can't get enough of. Sarah McCarty captures the essence in each man and their other half to perfection.
What do You think about Shadow's Stand (2012)?
Enjoyed story, would have been better with less bible thumping.
