Since I left my lame rating/review of the first book in the series, figured I should add my lame -- but enthusiastic! -- review for the second. Ava's one of the few authors on my sadly dwindling autobuy list because she delivers every farkin time - YAY! I am far too lazy to give you a blow-by-blow on the story, but suffice it to say I enjoyed it immensely. Anxiously awaiting the next in the series. As I was reading this, I had the feeling I knew some of the characters. Sure enough, I looked back at my list of books and last year I read the first book in this series. And I loved it! Not shocking. I mean, come on. This is Ava March we're talking about. I was hoping the next book would involve Rawlings, but I'm more than happy with this one. I enjoyed Jack and William as characters very much and felt for them. Especially William. Jack is a bit dense at times, which frustrated me, but he eventually figured things out. I'll absolutely read more in this series. That said, though, I still can't figure out how the title fits with this book. And I love the cover!
What do You think about Sharp Love (2014)?
I liked this one lots. It gets a point for both MCs being commoners, too.
