This one started alright, then just petered out. By the time I hit 75% I had to put it down. I think what bothered me the most is how much Grace (the main female) cries. She doesn't come across as being a crybaby but the author has her crying a lot more than I think she would/should be doing. I hate giving 2 star ratings but Goodreads says that means "it was ok", and that is all this was in my opinion. But that's just my opinion and should not stop anyone from reading this. This is acceptable reading for a younger audience. I wanted to like this book more than I actually did. Despite the potentially interesting paranormal characters who peopled Grace's world, none of them particularly appealed to me. There was limited character development, and the whole book seemed like a set-up for another book. At the end, we're left still not knowing much about the paranormal elements; the only action scene is not explained clearly and Grace kind of ignores what happens and throws a picnic for her friends. I don't care enough about Grace to continue to read the series.
Well written but not happen with the ending or story line. Overall not a bad book.

This book was boring...I guess I read too many books like it in the past.

A bit confusing with all the information, but an interesting read.

Way too much teenage angst. I couldn't finish this book.
