Quick, sharp, fun and enjoyable. Sheikh with Benefits was only a short novella, but I found it highly enjoyable. In a short space of time it was easy to connect and understand the emotion between the characters because they had a history. Arya and Sheikh Javad have been friends for a while, but Arya has always been the wallflower, the one that sinks into the background when her beautiful sisters are around. Well...not anymore. She has finally had enough of loving Javad in secret and is going to test whether he loves her back or not. Either way she will find out where she stands. The way she does it, is by asking Javad to ask his brother to sleep with her. That way she will know if Javad really cares for her. BAM! Javad turns into a sexy, dominant, protective tiger who won't let anyone else touch her. Dude, he was yummy. This was an easy read that kept me entertained and made me all warm and fuzzy inside. Definitely a great, quick Sheikh read. I'm sometimes wary of shorter romance stories (this one is 21,000 words) fearing the romance will move too unrealistically fast. But this works because the characters have a history already, so we're essentially reading about just that crucial time of realisation that they have to be together and not just friends any more.The characters have good chemistry and are very sexy together. The writing is transparent and lively, often witty. The heroine makes a spectacular entrance in the story - I loved it! Very enjoyable novella.
