Simplify: 7 Guiding Principles To Help Anyone Declutter Their Home And Life (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
I like Joshua Becker and when I was on Facebook his updates in my newsfeed were one of the reasons it was hard for me to pull the plug. However, I think I have read too much and reflected too much (not to mention donated, given away, or thrown away too much) for these guides to be useful for me at this point. I am going deeper in my simplicity (meaning simplicity in action, thoughts, mindfulness, etc.) and wanting to explore the concept on a deeper level. This was a very quick and easy read, just right for a book on minimalism. I didn't think it was anything too profound but I took a few things away from it that I can apply to my life and the life of our family so worth the read I suppose. (I recommend it to anyone who is trying to figure out how to declutter and where to start especially for those with kids. It was refreshing to see minimalism written about with a family perspective in mind.)
