How far are both ladies willing to go for the win?When I first heard that SINNERS & SAINTS was to be a collaboration featuring the bad girls Jasmine (Victoria Christopher Murray) and Rachel (ReShonda Tate Billingsley) I already knew that readers would be in for a serious battle of wit, attitude and tricks. Because I've read all of the Rachel books, I was proudly flying my TEAM RACHEL flag. However, Lady Jasmine has piqued my interest and I`m going to have to give her a try.SINNERS & SAINTS was an entertaining read. I'm hoping to see these two together again.OOSA Online Book Club BOTM Devious, conniving, self-indulgent, sinister, lying, cheating, so-called First Ladies? I was appalled by the suggestion. I was forced to ponder the possibility of their existence in real life. Sure an author or authors can conjure up any personality with the creative flick of their imaginations. But, this concept just did not sit well with my spiritual psyche. I hope that what has been portrayed is JUST imagination and not rooted in reality. I was emotionally drawn into the manipulating tactics of these women married to men of the cloth and the apparent differences in their foundation of faith between them and their husbands. I was not happy. But, I was entertained.Sinners and Saints was a well rehearsed collaboration between two talented authors who Must be friends as well. The book was seamless and the choreography was stellar. Each voice moved effortlessly to tell the story of two characters who have their own following of readers and supporters. Although, I was familiar with Jasmine Larsen Bush, I have only through this book made acquaintance with Rachel Adams. What an introduction.If you are a VCM fan, you will not be disappointed. I dare say the same is true for ReShonda Tate Billingsley fans as well. Surely, this will not be the last of the "meeting of the minds" of Jasmine and Rachel. I heard they travel across Country together. One can only hope.
